Summit Lion And Dragon Dance Team

The Summit Lion Dance team is a non-profit organization composed of students from kindergarten through college. The team focuses on developing confidence and leadership skills amongst the students and offering cultural awareness to the community. The team has grown to include students of all ethnicities as long as they have passion, enthusiasm, and motivation.

The Summit Lion Dance team performs year-round in  Austin at weddings, multicultural events, festivals, and businesses during the Lunar New Year. All the proceeds from the performances go directly to the Walnut Creek Vietnamese Foundation which supports the Lion Dance team as well as the Dual Language Program. The Foundation provides scholarship funds for students who display leadership and continue to support the Dual Language Program.

We are typically busiest during the Lunar New Year season but perform year-round. You can stay updated via our performance calendar for the most updated schedule.
